Avenue Q Musical won the “Best Musical”, “Best Music” “Best Script” in 2004 Tony Awards, is on stage in Turkey and for the first time in Turkish.
The main cast includes Emre Altuğ, Demet Tuncer, Volkan Severcan, Engin Alkan, Melis Sökmen, Cenk Sökmen, Ayumi Takano, Melda Gür , Boğaçhan Sözmen and Ayşen Guruda.
Avenue Q was first performed on Broadway in 2003. Since 2005 it has been performed in some of the world’s most important metropolitans starting in London and it is still sold out in New Yorks Broadway and Londons West End. And now it is in Istanbul!
Written by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, directed by Volkan Severcan, adapted to Turkish by Bora Severcan ,the musical has a live orchestra conducted by Murat Kodallı. Tickets for the first performance on Thursday 26th of March are available on Biletix and at the Dormen Theatre.

The musical follows a group of people who are well educated but are not well adjusted to life.
